| The
finish gates are positioned along the edge of a five-foot vertical
dirt ledge that empties into a gentle down hill slope. Tim attempts
to push Chris across the remaining 15 feet. His initial effort is
unsuccessful. Chris climbs out and Chris and Tim begin tossing small
stones from the path of the vehicle. Chris returns to the controls.
The Official announces that 30 seconds remain on the clock. Scully
works at it until the rig begins to move. 15 seconds remain on the
clock. The vehicle builds momentum. |
