| When
Durham arrives at the Dingleberry obstacle, the Official chides Chris
for being late, indicating that he has already started the clock.
Chris doesn't break stride. He accelerates into the obstacle, sending
mud and debris flying in all directions. He reaches a steep drop-off
and Scully directs him to drive over it even though the line doesn't
look so good. Too little time remains on the clock for Chris and Tim
to consider backing up and trying a different line. As he comes down
from the ledge, the rear tires lift well off the rocks and the rig
lands hard. When it settles, Chris discovers that his transmission
has quit pulling. He has about 15 feet to go to complete the obstacle. |
