morning, on the day before the competition was set to start, seventeen teams
trailered their vehicles from Cabo San Lucas to a place near the canyon
where the event was to be held. Leaving the tow vehicles behind, they drove
their crawlers through soft sand to the canyon entrance. This photo was
taken as the teams began assembling at the beginning of the obstacle course
for their pre-competition briefing. |
