Before
Ken Shupe's turn came up on Robert's Revenge, another competitor succeeded
in nudging a large boulder loose and it came to rest in a place that
made this rock feature difficult, maybe even impossible to negotiate.
Ken's legendary spotter, Kevin "Moose" Nalley, with arms
and legs the size of small trees, managed to lift the stone off the
ground and deposit it on the course so that it actually made the passage
less difficult than it had originally been. The crowd went wild and
Moose seemed to enjoy the exhibition. Here Ken is seen driving over
the boulder, and as he is accustomed to doing, he makes the passage
look much easier than it is. |
