| For
several nights leading up to the event, the Baja Rocks staging area
was the hottest ticket in town. Rock music blared from loud speakers,
Tecate girls danced on a band stand, and mexican vendors provided
tacos and other mexican delights. Around 9:00pm drivers stacked their
rock crawlers, one tire on top of another up to three high to entertain
the crowd. International Course Designer Phil Collard directed the
vehicle stacking from a commanding position at the top of the heap. |
